Situated in the historic Kingston Power House, the shop acts as a blank canvas for the various glass objects and artworks on display. We needed to transform the low-ceilinged, enclosed and artificially-lit site into a space that celebrates the material brilliance of artisanal glassware. We introduced a curvilinear landscape that aims to complement the works rather than interfere.
We recently had the opportunity to redesign the Canberra Glassworks retail space. We aimed to introduce a new design language - leveraging off and contributing to the existing interior spatial palette.
